PARALEGAL APPRENTICESHIP

  • Due to the Apprenticeship criteria we are unable to accept applications from candidates that have a higher qualification in the area of law than this Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship.
  • Please note before application that an Apprenticeship is not suitable for candidates looking for part-time work, or work experience during a gap year.
  • The vacancy requires candidates that have left school, college or university, as they need to be available immediately.
  • We are unable to consider applications where there is a long commute or if there is a need to relocate.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Due to the Apprenticeship criteria candidates with LLB would not be eligible for this position
  • Local viable commute essential
  • 4-9 grades English and maths GCSE’s
  • Confident with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good client care skills
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

  • Answers the telephone and provides exceptional customer service to internal and external contacts.
  • Supports line manager and other colleagues
  • Arranges client meetings
  • Attends meetings and takes meeting notes
  • Deals with key property related administration
  • Using online case management system
  • Logs into and updates various portals
  • Updates and manages records and files
  • Undertaking research
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Provides reception coverage as needed for backup
  • Take part in the rota for dealing with outgoing post and DX
  • Drafts correspondence and standard forms
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information in accordance with GDPR
  • Preparing invoices for clients
