PARALEGAL - BANKRUPTCY

We’re seeking a knowledgeable team member who loves to help people work towards financial freedom. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, while also follow processes adn procedures so the team can operate like a well-oiled machine.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS’ BANKRUPTCY EXPERIENCE.
This is an in-house position. No remote applicants, please.

$55,000 - $65,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
- Prepare Bankruptcy petitions, client correspondence, draft pleadings, etc.
- Manage files to ensure they move forward per Firm processes & procedures
- Meet with clients in person or via telephone/zoom
- Manage court docket
- Prepare files for court hearings
- Assist clients with 341 prep and attendance
- Work with lawyers on all aspects of client matters
Qualifications:
- Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
- Talented communicator and writer
- 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
