Location & Commitments: Practice Area / Department: Construction Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week. Work Location: Hybrid / In-Office: This position will report to work at our office in Maitland. Responsibilities: Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts. Manage discovery, including organizing, reviewing, and producing documents. Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other key case materials. Support attorneys with trial preparation and attend hearings or trials as needed. Conduct legal research and summarize findings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and calendars. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts. Track and record billable hours in accordance with firm guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements & Competencies: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (insurance defense preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Basic knowledge of court and administrative proceedings. Familiarity with lawsuit summaries, litigation files, and legal record maintenance. Proficiency in administrative tasks. Works well in a team environment. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Must meet billing goal expectations. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
