The Role: We are seeking an experienced In-House Paralegal to support our legal team with a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, as well as providing general legal and administrative support. This role is ideal for a proactive paralegal who enjoys working closely with the business and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced in-house environment. Key Responsibilities: Corporate, Commercial and Litigation Support · Assist with the drafting, review and management of commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, supplier agreements, customer contracts). · Support corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder documentation, statutory filings, and maintenance of corporate records. · Support privacy-related queries from internal teams, escalating to counsel where appropriate. · Support the management of litigation, organization for disputes and requests from external counsel. · Support IP portfolio management, including renewals and liaison with external IP counsel. · Provide general legal support on employment and HR related matters, including assisting with documentation, and coordination with the HR team as needed. · Support with ad hoc legal requests and queries as and when required. · Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisers on legal matters. Administrative & Operational Support: · Maintain and organize legal files, databases and document management systems. · Assist with legal team administration, including billing support, matter tracking and reporting. · Support compliance processes and internal policies. · Own and maintain various internal trackers and status reports. · Help improve legal team processes and workflows where appropriate. Key Requirements: · Ability to commute into our offices 3 days a week. · LLB Law degree, GDL plus LPC, or other legal qualification. · Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working as a paralegal. · Experience supporting corporate and/or commercial legal work. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and work to deadlines. · Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels. · Proficient in Microsoft Office, AI tools and document management systems. · Experience working in an in-house legal team. · Familiarity with contract management systems.
