We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join the Complex Catastrophic Loss team in our Liverpool office, located in the City Centre.
The Catastrophic Injury Team is nationally recognised and one of the largest in the UK. We act for a number of well-known insurer clients and provide high quality advice on a wide range of matters that are of significant value, resulting in an interesting and rewarding set of cases for you to work on.
The role is hybrid and we would expect office attendance in Liverpool 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:

As Paralegal your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting and providing support to senior team members (Director and Senior Associate) who manage a multi-track catastrophic injury caseload.
  • Drafting court documents, attending court hearings, working to court deadlines.
  • Conducting liability investigations, gathering evidence, preparing advice to clients, identifying medical experts and preparing instructions.
  • Reviewing medical records and other case related documents.
  • General day to day administration tasks including keeping the case management system up to date and in line with client service level requirements.
  • Providing the highest level of client care at all times.
