As a Paralegal in our Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients, many of whom are vulnerable individuals. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to life-changing work while building your own legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting solicitors in managing a caseload of Court of Protection matters.
• Conducting legal research and drafting documents.
• Liaising with clients and keeping them informed about their case progress.
• Handling administrative tasks, including file management, document organisation, and scheduling.

This role is based from our office in York on a hybrid basis.
What you’ll bring

We’re seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or a strong enthusiasm for legal work.
• Knowledge of relevant legal procedures and regulations, particularly within Court of Protection.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
