Description Job Title: Paralegal (Federal Contract – Civil Division Support) Reports To: CTR Program Manager Client: TBD Office: TBD Location: Denver, CO Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) FLSA Status: Exempt Clearance: Client clearance THIS ROLE IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD ________________________________________ Position Summary At CTRMG, we specialize in various core capabilities including Human Capital Management Services, Acquisition Support Services, IT Management Support Services, Grants Management Services, Medical and Laboratory services, and Healthcare Delivery Services. With our wide range of experience, we provide valuable expertise in critical areas of consulting and acquisition operations. The Paralegal supports the representation of the federal government in civil cases filed in the District of Colorado. This role performs a wide range of litigation support, case management, research, and document preparation functions under attorney supervision. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of information in compliance with court orders, federal procedures, and contract requirements. ________________________________________ Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Paralegal shall perform, at a minimum, the following duties: • Provide direct litigation support to AUSAs in the Civil Division • Review, organize, and manage large volumes of emails, documents, and records • Create, maintain, and utilize spreadsheets and databases for case tracking • Gather information and materials, including agency records, court records, and public records • Read, analyze, and summarize pleadings, court orders, transcripts, files, and other factual materials • Draft memoranda and summaries for attorney review • Coordinate with federal agencies to locate, collect, and organize information • Assist in ensuring compliance with court orders and litigation deadlines • Perform factual and legal research and prepare written research memoranda • Provide automated litigation support for briefs, hearings, and presentations • Prepare documents, exhibits, charts, and visual materials for litigation • Provide technical support related to exhibits, including scanning, enlarging, duplicating, and marking materials • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of case management and contract objectives Requirements Required Qualifications Contractor personnel shall meet the following minimum requirements: • Relevant paralegal or legal support work experience • Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong work ethic • Proficiency with standard office and litigation software tools • Ability to review and manage large quantities of documents • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a DOJ security clearance ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications (if applicable) • Prior experience supporting DOJ, USAO, or federal litigation environments • Experience supporting civil litigation matters • Experience working with large-scale document review or complex case files ________________________________________ Core Competencies • Civil Litigation Support • Legal Research and Analysis • Case Organization and Management • Document Review and Production • Federal Court and Litigation Procedures ________________________________________ Work Environment • Office-based work located at the USAO, District of Colorado • Some walking, standing, bending, and carrying small office items required • Government-furnished workspace, computer, and telephone provided ________________________________________ Equal Employment Opportunity CTR Management Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
