Our well established client is seeking a experienced Paralegal to join their Clinical Negligence department at their head office in Leeds City Centre.
Their specialist team is passionate about the law and getting the right result for our clients.
The successful candidate will pride themselves on their excellent client care and be adept at communicating clearly, but sensitively. They will have a strong eye for detail, be thorough and efficient and able to prioritise their workload and meet strict deadlines. KEY SKILLS

KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or similar role with client contact.
Responsibilities
  • Providing support to other fee earners, Solicitors and partners.
  • Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client’s initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel or other experts as appropriate.
  • Taking contemporaneous notes at conferences.
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to pay disbursements and deal with billing.
  • Preparing electronic bundles.
  • Maintaining diaries and making appointments when required.
  • Maintaining legal knowledge and skills.
  • Business Development.
