Overview:
At KPMG Law, our Private Client Service lawyers take a multidisciplinary approach to helping private clients manage and transfer their wealth.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced paralegal to join our Trust & Estates team and make a meaningful impact. While the primary focus of this role is estate administration, you will also support estate planning activities.
As part of KPMG Private Enterprise and Family Office practices, you will support clients with a holistic view of their challenges and opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Draft legal documents including probate applications, wills, personal directives and powers of attorney
  • Communicate regularly with clients and beneficiaries
  • Liaise with financial institutions, government agencies and other third parties
  • Prepare and file probate documents and ensure compliance with court procedures
  • Assist in identifying, valuing and managing estate assets
  • Prepare financial accounting documents
  • Conduct research to support estate administration
  • Manage files including opening, record keeping and task tracking

What you bring to this role:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a paralegal
  • Experience in estate administration or estate planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and legal software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Practical and client-focused approach to legal work
