Our HQ is based in Berlin and we operate a hybrid working environment. We are looking for a highly motivated Paralegal reporting to the GC to provide support across the legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand Upvest’s business processes and work on a wide array of legal and regulatory matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the legal team to provide assistance on a variety of legal and regulatory issues, including financial regulations, commercial contracts, consumer T&Cs and privacy.
  • Assist with updating legal and compliance documents such as policies and manuals, as well as drafting, reviewing and executing a broad range of legal documents, including NDAs and commercial contracts.
  • Manage legal operations by improving and scaling processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness using legal tech.
  • Maintain and organizing the contracts database, and generally leading on document management.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects to improve the processes within the Banking Team.
