JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyer by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and managing case files. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for drafting and proofreading documents.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients and witnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
  • Draft and proofread various legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
  • Manage case files using CLIO and ensure all documents are accurately filed and organized.
  • Assist our lawyer with project management tasks, including tracking deadlines and coordinating schedules.
  • Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records within the firm’s database.
  • Exhibit strong phone etiquette while communicating with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
  • Provide clerical support such as filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence.
