We have an opportunity for a casual Paralegal to join our Government Public and Regulatory team in Sydney or Canberra, working with Karwan Eskerie and Mia Donald.

About the team and the work

  • The team acts for a range of Commonwealth clients in one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country
  • The team assists with some of the highest profile, sensitive and strategic matters in the country, and working with leading experts in the field
  • You would be handling a high volume of files, with day to day tasks including compilation of court books, preparing briefs for counsel and tribunal documents, daily correspondence with court, clients and Barristers
  • You will be an integral part of a high-performing, collegiate and supportive team

About you

  • Be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days or more per week on an ongoing basis
  • Have experience in a high-volume litigation practice is preferred, but not essential
  • Have the ability to work autonomously
  • Have strong technical skills in PDF editing and Microsoft Office
  • An excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Have a hard working and positive attitude
