Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our Legal team is growing, and we’re looking for a nimble, tech-savvy Paralegal to support our rapidly scaling business. In this dynamic role, you’ll help build and streamline a world-class legal function, working cross-functionally to increase efficiency and impact. You’ll serve as a key liaison between the Legal team and external counsel, ensuring strong relationships and smooth operations. This role will be central to the day-to-day operations of the Legal team and will have opportunities to lead and support strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain Homebound’s legal intranet and corporate records, including entity filings, business licenses, contractor’s licenses, and signature authority documentation
  • Support the administration and renewal of insurance policies and assist with broader risk management efforts, including filing and administering claims.
  • Manage due diligence, documentation, and closings for a range of corporate transactions, including real estate deals, financings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Draft, prepare, and manage legal agreements such as NDAs, purchase agreements, sales agreements, and real estate-related contracts, and other commercial contracts; create and maintain templates, playbooks, and policies/procedures as needed
  • Administer legal technology tools, including systems for contract lifecycle management, risk reporting, outside counsel billing, and legal project tracking, including administrating the legal budget.
  • Assist the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel in managing claims and disputes.
  • Support or lead special projects and ongoing programs to improve the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of the Legal team.
