The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files to ensure efficient and effective legal services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings. * Conduct legal research and gather relevant information. * Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and discovery materials. * Manage and maintain case files and documentation. * Coordinate communication between clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases. * File documents with courts and government agencies as required. * Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines. * Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing calendars. QUALIFICATIONS * Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal or in a related legal role. * Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. * Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills. * Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Familiarity with Georgia state laws and court systems is a plus.
