JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our wills, probate, tax and trusts team. This role will support our lawyers in a growing team for a top-ranked law firm.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Have at least a 2.1 degree, a CILEX qualification or at least 5 years’ experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant in a similar team.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse information effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Assist solicitors with case preparation, including drafting documents and conducting legal research.
  • Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on their cases and address any inquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates while maintaining an organised calendar for the legal team.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports as required, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to support daily operations.
