PARALEGAL

Slough (Head Office)
Hybrid - minimum of 2 days per week on-site.
Join our snack-loving team! We’re looking for a Paralegal to join our team at KP Snacks. Fancy being part of a group where your ideas matter and your growth is celebrated? Keep reading – this might just be your next adventure!
This is a key role that supports the business across a wide range of legal areas including commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.
Working closely with the General Counsel, you’ll provide expert legal advice with minimal supervision, draft and manage commercial contracts, and support key cross-functional projects. You’ll play an important role in shaping and implementing legal policies and compliance frameworks that support sustainable business growth. With a focus on risk awareness and practical problem-solving, you’ll help teams across the business make informed decisions and operate confidently.
This role offers a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where your expertise will contribute to safeguarding our brands, people, and reputation. You’ll also take the lead on contract management processes and help ensure the efficient operation of the legal function, including budget management and liaison with external counsel.
If you’re solution-focused, commercially aware, and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU CAN DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You bring a strong foundation in legal knowledge, with a university degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification. Whether you’re an experienced paralegal or a recent graduate, your legal understanding will be valued and developed.
  • You contribute to the team with excellent research, communication, and organisational skills, and a willingness to learn how to balance legal risk with commercial priorities in a practical, business-focused way.
  • Experience in a legal advisory or paralegal role—particularly in-house or within FMCG, manufacturing, or retail—is a strong advantage, but we also welcome entry-level candidates with transferable skills and a passion for starting their legal career in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of areas such as data privacy, governance, or commercial contracts is helpful but not essential, and training will be provided. We encourage applications even if you don’t meet every criteria.
  • You’ll thrive at KP Snacks by acting with integrity, taking ownership, and building strong, collaborative relationships, all while supporting continuous improvement and contributing to a trusted, high-performing legal team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice across commercial, corporate, and compliance matters, working independently to support day-to-day operations while ensuring alignment with KP Snacks’ risk appetite and legal obligations.
  • Take on the exciting challenge of managing a diverse portfolio of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and leading the contract approval process—balancing legal rigour with commercial pragmatism.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, becoming a trusted advisor and working closely with the General Counsel, external law firms, and cross-functional teams on strategic projects such as M&A, supply chain initiatives, and governance improvements.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding our legal and compliance frameworks, supporting confident decision-making, minimising legal risk, and helping safeguard the reputation, brands, and people of KP Snacks.
  • Continue to grow your legal expertise by staying up to date with developments in relevant legislation and market practice, sharing knowledge across the team, and gaining hands-on experience in project leadership, policy development, and legal operations including budget and PO management.
