Due to ongoing success and expansion we are currently recruiting for a number of full time Paralegal / Legal Assistant across a range of departments and locations.

  • Private Wealth & Succession – Halifax, Huddersfield
  • Family - Huddersfield
  • Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence - Leeds
  • Child Law - Dewsbury

Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. Tasks will vary depending on the department but will likely include the following;

Responsibilities
  • Assisting fee earners with case progression and helping them manage their caseloads by dealing with specific delegated tasks.
  • Preparing Hearing and Trial bundles
  • Drafting documents including instructions to counsel
  • Dealing with new telephone enquiries.
  • Dealing with correspondence and liaising directly with clients and third parties.
  • Attend to clients, both in person and on the telephone, to provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures for all matters within your control.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and other regulatory aspects by attending training provided.
