Essential Functions: Conduct legal, statistical, documentary research using software, social media, etc. Draft legal documents, correspondence and pleadings Compile and summarize depositions, medical/employment records, discovery and testimony Assist attorney in preparation for hearings, depositions and trials Schedule Depositions Draft and revise pleadings, file with courts Consult with clients and maintain confidentiality of client matters Manage billable time to meet billable hours goal Bill according to client’s billing compliance guidelines Manage attorney calendar Skills/Qualifications: Ability and desire to work as a member of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; transcription; documentation; knowledge of legal documents and terminology; accurate typing speed of 50 wpm, working collaboratively with attorneys, staff and clients; organization and multitasking, superior written and verbal communication skills. Mature, assertive, professional demeanor. Ability to maintain strict confidence.
