Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Job Summary We are seeking an experienced paralegal with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our legal team to primarily focus on litigation and mass tort space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and mass torts, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while assisting the attorney in various tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in fact investigation, witness interviews, drafting pleadings and correspondence, legal research, document preparation and production, database management, docketing/case management, and overall client service. Prepare materials for and assist in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials and related proceedings, and attend same if needed. Pre-trial preparation and trial attendance. Prepare draft pleadings and discovery. Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service. Collect and summarize medical and/or other records. Assist with calendaring/docketing. Act as a liaison between clients, colleagues, and experts to ensure timely communication of case information and production of materials. Stay informed of developments in the product liability practice areas and the Paralegal industry. Maintain professional demeanor and attitude. Comply with firm policies. Sustain attention to detail and quality of work. Learn/develop technical proficiency in database use and management; internet/electronic research; and project folder/electronic file maintenance. Independently organize and manage files or delegate similar tasks to Paralegal Assistants or Information Governance and supervise same. Anticipate attorney needs. Independently handle all key duties without supervision of another Paralegal or Senior Paralegal. Familiarity and experience with adopting legal AI and ability to learn and implement new AI preferred. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Mass Tort or Litigation Paralegal. Proficient in legal research, document management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in mass tort litigation is preferred.
