Paralegal Litigation Manager (Remote – Illinois Licensed) Location: Chicago, IL area (Fully Remote – No Office Requirement) Compensation: $75,000 – $80,000 Start Date: Immediate Experience Required: 5+ years About the Role Our client, a reputable and growing personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal Litigation Manager to join their team. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while handling litigation matters across Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing complex litigation cases from inception through resolution. You will play a vital role in maintaining efficiency across the firm’s litigation caseload while supervising a small team and providing direct support to attorneys. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 100 active litigation cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and documents are properly filed. Oversee and supervise two staff members, offering training, mentorship, and workflow coordination. Assist two attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management. Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents. Maintain consistent client communication and handle case updates efficiently. Coordinate depositions, mediations, and trial logistics. Ensure compliance with Illinois state court procedures, particularly in Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties. Utilize strong technology skills to streamline case management processes and improve operational efficiency. Practice Areas Personal Injury Litigation Car Accidents Dog Bites Slip and Fall Cases Nursing Home Abuse Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably within personal injury law. Strong understanding of Illinois civil litigation procedure. Proven experience managing staff and supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously. Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. Proficiency in legal technology platforms and document management systems.
