The Paralegal position is a member of a team of attorneys and staff that assist with our labor and employment defense and business litigation work. The Paralegal will be responsible, with attorney supervision, for various aspects of assigned cases. MHS is a national law firm focusing on labor and employment defense and business litigation. Based in Atlanta, with additional offices in Carlsbad, Chicago, Dallas, New York, and Sacramento, MHS litigates labor and employment matters on behalf of all of its clients, including several national employers. Qualifications Prior legal experience is necessary; employment law background is a plus. Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate High-quality level of customer service, professionalism, and interpersonal skills (oral and written) as the role requires various interactions with attorneys, courts and administrative agencies, local and opposing counsel, as well as firm clients. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of Adobe (or similar) software and ability to create, edit, modify, redact, and protect pdf files. Experience with document management software - NetDocuments knowledge is a plus. Must be self-motivated and proactive. Attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
