We invest in and empower our people to stand up for what we believe in and go fearlessly forward together.
We work on real cases, achieving important and positive results in real people’s lives, which is why we are one of Australia’s most respected law firms. Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has experience in a law firm or professional services firm, but don’t worry if you don’t - it’s not essential! We also strongly encourage law students to apply.
What we do need is someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who can work with a diverse range of clients. You’ll need to be detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong time management skills to keep up with our fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for a team player who can juggle multiple demands and is proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Due to unprecedented growth in the CQ region, we are recruiting for multiple roles from receptionist to paralegal based in Rockhampton or Gladstone. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic team and grow your career within Maurice Blackburn. This would suit a law student or someone looking for an opportunity to enter the legal industry.
You will be a vital part to the CQ team and will build upon your existing client service skills by providing excellent support to our clients when they need it most.
Depending on the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to answering and managing incoming calls, diary management, being in frequent contact with clients (both internal and external), file management, preparation of correspondence, court documents and briefs of evidence, and providing day-to-day support to our legal team.
