Description:
This is an in-house Paralegal role, supporting the Legal Manager and reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations. The role will provide essential support across a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, data protection, intellectual property, insurance and regulatory compliance. As part of the legal team, you will collaborate with internal business stakeholders and assist in managing contractual, regulatory and compliance processes. The candidate is expected to provide timely, solution-oriented and commercially astute legal support.

Responsibilities:
As a Paralegal, your role will involve a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with the drafting and reviewing of various commercial contracts, such as NDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), vendor agreements and data protection agreements (DPAs).
- Supporting data protection compliance initiatives.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to provide insights into changes in laws and regulations that may impact the business.
- Helping to develop and maintain contract management systems, ensuring all agreements are effectively tracked and stored.
- Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing legal queries and providing clear, concise advice
- Collaborating with the Legal Manager on strategic legal initiatives and projects.
You will also assist the wider Commercial Operations team with:
- Insurance matters, including analysing and reviewing coverage and assisting with the renewals process.
- Developing and embedding a proactive and responsive working approach across the business, so you will need the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Updating / maintaining effective records of executed legal agreements, advice and general legal precedents.
- You will also work collaboratively with the wider Finance and Support functions to develop and maintain a strong support function for the business, its key stakeholders and its clients.
