The ideal candidate will have prior Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Eviction, or Title experience working in an office environment. If candidate does not have experience in these areas, any law firm experience will be considered. Candidate possesses excellent computer skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. Candidate must be a fast learner and willing to grow with company.

- Provide support to paralegal staff
- Update the internal case management system (CaseAware) and complete assigned steps.
- Utilize and update client portals, as needed, to accept and integrate new referrals (such as Vendorscape, Black Knight, Equator, TEMPO, etc.) and reflect all client activities.
- Complete bankruptcy and military compliance checks.
- Draft, prepare, and review legal documents and packages such as 10 days’ notice, complaints, motions, affidavits, pleadings and the like.
- Conducts research on filing rules by county.
- Prepare check requests and fee approvals, as necessary
Communicate with internal staff and clients
- Communicate all events and developments to clients using portals, email and client preferred methods of communication (fax, mail, overnight, as appropriate)
- Discuss any issues regarding cases with paralegals, attorneys and managing paralegal.
- Establish a strong follow-up system, which includes proper calendaring, to ensure deadlines are not missed
- Request pertinent documents, fees, and related items from clients and third parties and follow-up on unfulfilled requests
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain and organize files.
- Scan, upload and update all documents to case management system and client portals.
- Mail out correspondence to debtors and clients.
- Runs CaseWare reports to track adherence to client deadlines.
