Novarc Technologies is seeking a meticulous, highly organized, and detail-oriented Paralegal to manage and oversee the company’s contracts.
Summary: As a Paralegal you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and administration of contracts with clients, vendors, and other business partners. The Contract Administrator will ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and legal standards, while also serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties.
Employment Type: Part time, permanent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in contract management software, Docusign, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong ability to comprehend and retain an understanding of basic contract law principles and key regulations and laws.
  • Excellent self awareness and ability to seek internal advice when appropriate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to handle complex situations with a calm and methodical approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Preparation and Review: Under guidance of the company’s General Counsel, draft, review, and circulate non-disclosure agreements and other contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring terms and process align with company policies and objectives, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Contract Negotiations: Under guidance of the company’s General Counsel, assist with contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Document Management: Maintain an organized repository of all active and expired contracts, ensuring proper filing, retention, and retrieval processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact between internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, procurement) and external parties regarding contract-related inquiries and issues.
  • Contract Modifications: Under guidance of the company’s General Counsel, manage the modification or extension of existing contracts as required, ensuring both parties agree to any changes.
  • Contract Auditing: Conduct regular audits of contracts and associated documentation to ensure completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Reporting: Generate periodic reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for senior management.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, policies, and best practices.
