Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, technology oriented and client focused paralegal with a growth mindset to join Macquarie’s Global Legal and Governance Group Commercial team.
This role will be engaged on a part-time contract basis, up to three days per week over a six month period.

What role will you play?
In this role you will provide both paralegal and practice management support to a high performing, client focused legal team that is responsible for advising the Macquarie Group globally on technology, real estate and commercial contracts. You will work on strategic projects across different practice groups and jurisdictions.
Under appropriate supervision, you will support our Lawyers with contract review, legal research, and practice management related initiatives. In addition, you will undertake administrative tasks such as filing, contract functions, meeting materials and preparation, and reviewing various legal documentation.
What you offer
- Experience working as a paralegal in a busy law firm or inhouse legal team

- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and delivery focused team environment
- Pragmatic mindset, ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
- A technology oriented perspective with advanced Microsoft office skills in Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in the organisation and management of files, records, and documents in a matter management system such as Sharepoint.
