REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within the legal field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with various types of legal documents.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to utilize online databases effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
  • Competence in using iManage or similar document management systems is desirable.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by compiling relevant information and documentation.
  • Manage case files using iManage software to ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain organized records.
  • Exhibit strong phone etiquette when communicating with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
  • Coordinate project management tasks to ensure timely completion of legal assignments.
