[What the role is] We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the National Heritage Board, to provide support to the NHB’s Legal Division in delivering efficient and high-quality legal services. You will be reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel and assist with research, contract management and administrative support across a range of matters, as well as attend to queries on the use of Singapore’s National Symbols. [What you will be working on] [Application of Law] Supporting the NHB Legal Division with conducting legal research on statutes, regulations and caselaw [Contract Advisory & Management] Reviewing and proofreading of basic legal agreements (MOUs, Loan Agreements, Addendums, Gift Agreements, Contest Terms & Conditions, etc) [File Reference Issuing & Records Management] Assisting in maintaining and updating the files, documents and records of the NHB Legal Division, and collecting divisional statistics for reporting purposes Administrative support for the Legal Unit including but not limited to archiving, creation of templates, procurement of external legal services, liaising with external legal firms on invoicing matters, processing of claims, Preparation of presentation materials for internal and external meetings Interfacing with requests from members of the public regarding the use of Singapore’s National Symbols [What we are looking for] Background in Law, Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies Experience with drafting and reviewing commercial contracts. Prior experience in handling Government procurement matters is advantageous.
