The role will play a key role in supporting the legal function across a broad range of responsibilities. This is a hands-on position, and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop their in-house experience within a dynamic business environment. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Legal based in the United Kingdom, and working in a challenging and diverse team, this role is part of the Rio Tinto Legal team, and you will: Review and support on commercial contracts, NDAs and supplier agreements Assist with due diligence and data collection on transactions Manage document retention and supporting knowledge management initiatives Process management and day-to-day paralegal support About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Provide prompt, commercial and practical advice Paralegal or junior legal experience (in-house or private practice) Strong project management skills and a proactive and organized approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently when required as well as an ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization Ability to manage and prioritise multiple matters effectively Eagerness to learn What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress.
