We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our plaintiff-side litigation team in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing cases from intake through trial while providing exceptional support to attorneys and compassionate service to clients. • Oversee the management of personal injury cases during both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
• Draft, file, and organize pleadings, discovery documents, and other legal correspondence.
• Maintain and update case files, trial notebooks, and related documentation.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel.
• Prepare settlement demands and assist attorneys with case evaluations.
• Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other evidence.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents and related materials.
• At least 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal within plaintiff litigation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and procedural deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of trial preparation and case management processes.
