We are currently recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join our team based in Urmston.
As our in-house Paralegal, you will provide essential legal support across a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, property, employment, and dispute resolution. The role will involve working closely with our in-house solicitors, finance, commercial, compliance, and operations teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a paralegal/senior legal assistant role
  • A law degree (preferable but not essential)
  • Successful completion of the Legal Practice Course (preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • The ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to)

  • Reviewing, and amending a variety of commercial contracts and agreements
  • Supporting the legal team in managing compliance with UK laws and regulations
  • Assisting with the management of property leases and real estate documentation
  • Assisting with property compliance
  • Supporting Human Resources and operations with employment law documentation and procedures
  • Conducting legal research and preparing internal briefings or memos
  • Managing legal records, databases, and document filing systems
  • Liaising with external solicitors and barristers when required
  • Assisting in the handling of legal disputes, claims, and litigation matters
  • Assisting with insurance matters
  • Monitoring legal developments and advising on relevant changes
  • Preparing Weekly/Monthly reports for the Board
