JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the SVP, Chief Legal Officer, you will use your specialized knowledge to support the expansion of SE Health’s Legal Department work as a part of a dedicated team to address a variety of corporate/commercial, litigation, and regulatory matters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education from a recognized paralegal program
  • A minimum of two years of work experience in a paraprofessional capacity
  • Previous experience in a health setting is preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, including attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks while working in a busy, rapidly-changing work environment
  • Ability to take initiative and to demonstrate resourcefulness in work assignments
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience with contract life cycle management solutions is preferred
  • Knowledge of health care and/or health care terminology is an asset
    This role is a hybrid and may require travel to our Markham or Toronto office as needed
