Description

We are looking for a Paralegal to join us, working in a 14 month fixed term contract.
The role in a nutshell: Providing Paralegal support to the Legal team and the wider TFSUK business as required.
A bit about the ‘Department’: The Legal department is at the forefront of both progress and protection at TFSUK, supporting the business to achieve its strategic goals through advice, project partnering and contract drafting/negotiation. The established team members collaborate enthusiastically between themselves and as trusted counsel to internal clients. The department supports a broad range of business functions and thus delivers a broad legal advisory provision covering, including consumer credit, data protection, company commercial, treasury funding and corporate credit facilities. It also manages company secretarial matters.

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL GAIN:

KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • A good understanding of the legal system, with good administration skills.
  • A general understanding of consumer credit law and regulations, and FCA rules and guidance which apply to the TFSUK business.
  • Relevant experience in complaints handling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documents.
  • Liaising with other legal professionals (both within the internal legal team and the external legal counsel).
  • Giving clients legal information.
  • Reviewing and drafting court-related documentation as required.
  • Providing case file support and management for litigations from inception to closure.
  • Providing other legal support as required.
