FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: Optional Part-time/Per Diem Shift: Rotating Shift Details: schedule varies based upon department needs; Requires 36 hours every 6 weeks; shifts available includes: 0700-1930, 1400-2230, or 1915-0715. Includes 1 Major and 1 Minor Holiday every year Job Summary: An exceptional opportunity for a qualified, motivated and committed Paramedic to deliver the highest quality holistic patient care resulting in the best healthcare outcomes and extraordinary patient satisfaction scores in a highly collaborative team model. The Paramedic assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive functions that they have documented competency to perform. The Paramedic adheres to policy, procedures & established standards of practice. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1of year experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of Paramedic experience is preferred. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSURE: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required. Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin is required. SPECIAL SKILLS: Fluent in English, both written and oral Commitment to the highest ideals of the nursing profession in caring for patients Collaborative teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary group focused on patient care Ability to work independently Ability to exercise independent judgment Exhibits strong decision-making skills Displays excellent communication skills Ability to perform while under stress Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment Ability to document accurately and concisely Ability to follow hospital policies, goals and procedures Ability to recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
