What you DO Rapidly assess patients for adverse reactions or medical emergencies during imaging procedures Monitor vital signs, ECG, and mental status, reporting any abnormalities Provide basic and advanced life support (ACLS) as needed Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by a physician or radiologist Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and medications Assist with patient readiness, positioning, and overall clinical safety Support supply and inventory management to ensure readiness at all times What you BRING Current certification as a Paramedic Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with medical equipment and clinical procedures ABOUT US Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is a growing network of outpatient imaging centers committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic services to patients and their referring providers across Texas.
