Description Location: West Texas / Carlsbad, NM Schedule: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off Rotation Employment Type: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible Pay: $25/hour Start Date: ASAP (target within 2–3 weeks) About the Role XstremeMD is seeking experienced and dependable Paramedics to provide onsite medical support in remote industrial environments. This role combines emergency response, occupational health services, and ongoing patient care in a field-based clinic setting. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, and able to de-escalate high-stress situations while delivering quality care. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite medical care and emergency response services Conduct patient assessments, treatments, and follow-ups Perform occupational health testing (audiometry, PFT, respirator fit testing, etc.) Complete DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Support telemedicine services and collaborate with physicians Assist with medical emergency response planning Maintain clinic cleanliness, equipment, and inventory Ensure compliance with OSHA and client-specific requirements Requirements Minimum Qualifications Active Paramedic Certification (NREMT or State License) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong computer literacy and ability to work within EMR systems Ability to work independently in a remote environment Pre-Employment Requirements Expanded background check (client-required) Physical examination Urine drug screening Preferred Experience Experience in a 911 EMS system Occupational health / industrial testing experience Remote or industrial site medical experience Stable work history with minimal employment gaps Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred What Makes a Top Performer Strong people skills — approachable, calm, and professional Ability to de-escalate tense or stressful situations Confident communicator without arrogance Focused and conversational while staying on task Reliable work history and strong accountability Adaptability in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments Work Environment Remote site-based position Rotational schedule (14/14) Outdoor and industrial setting exposure Fast-paced environment with emergency response responsibilities
