Description Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled paramedics to join our team, providing exceptional medical care in emergency settings. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in delivering advanced pre-hospital care, demonstrating sound judgment in high-pressure situations, and communicating effectively with team members and patients. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced life support care to patients. Conduct patient assessments to determine the severity of conditions and necessary interventions. Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate medical equipment as necessary. Transport patients safely to healthcare facilities, ensuring continuous care en route. Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical personnel, and other emergency responders. Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately for records and reporting. Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in operating condition and prepared for immediate use. Requirements Qualifications Education and Certification High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in emergency medical technology preferred. Current TX EMT-P Certification. Current CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certifications. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a paramedic, with a strong track record in emergency medical response. Profound knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and patient assessment techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to stay calm and make critical decisions under pressure. Work Environment and Conditions The role of a paramedic involves working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, during all weather conditions.
