We are looking for a paraplanner to join our successful and award-winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners and to support the business and our Financial Planners in the delivery our service proposition to clients.

THE KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED

  • Proven Expertise: You bring previous paraplanning experience and are Level 4 Diploma (CII) qualified or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Know-How: You have in-depth knowledge of retail investment, savings, pension, and protection products, as well as a strong grasp of suitability report content and requirements.
  • Written Communication Star: You’re skilled at composing clear, well-structured suitability reports and letters, ensuring clients always receive accurate and relevant recommendations.
  • Effective Communicator: You’re comfortable communicating with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing, and know how to build great working relationships at all levels.
  • Collaborative & Motivated: You thrive in a team environment and enjoy building strong connections with both colleagues and clients across the business.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re confident using Microsoft Office and adaptable when it comes to learning new platforms. You’ll quickly get up to speed with our internal systems (Enable, Fusion - Wealth Platforms)
  • Embraces Growth & Change: You’re ambitious, open to new ideas, and eager to grow your skills ready to support and reflect our dynamic corporate culture.

Responsibilities
  • Partnering with Advisors: Build strong relationships with our advisors, keeping communication open and proactive to ensure client needs and objectives are always met.
  • Diving into the Details: Use your analytical mindset to conduct in-depth technical research and data analysis, preparing tailored illustrations and insights that empower our clients.
  • Being a Client Champion: Reach out to clients after meetings, providing clear answers to technical queries and making sure they feel supported every step of the way.
  • Spotting Opportunities: Proactively identify and suggest investment and tax-saving solutions that can really make a difference to our clients’ financial futures.
  • Upholding Standards: Take pride in your work by consistently meeting compliance requirements, ensuring we’re always delivering advice and service to the highest standard.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keep our paraplanning report templates up to date with the latest product and legislative changes, ensuring all documentation reflects current best practice.
  • Investing in Yourself: Stay current with industry knowledge through ongoing CPD and meet FCA, CII, and company standards – we’ll support you every step of the way.
  • Owning Your Work: Effectively prioritise and manage your caseloads, taking full ownership from the initial brief through to successful completion.
