Support the development and learning of young children as a Paraprofessional in an early childhood school setting. This role focuses on assisting preschool-aged students in their classroom environment, providing essential support to educators and enhancing the educational experience for all children.
Location: Monroe, WA
Duration: September 3, 2025 June 16, 2026 (Contract)
Schedule: 14 hours per week, Monday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and instructional support
  • Monitor and engage with children to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Support individual learning needs and help implement educational plans
  • Utilize in-person signing skills as required to facilitate effective communication
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain classroom organization and positive interactions

Qualifications:

  • Required credential: In-person signing paraprofessional (SEE) certification
  • Experience working with preschool-age children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to supporting early childhood education
