OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate different driving conditions. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in relation to loading and unloading procedures.
• Must have held full UK/EU manual driving licence for over 12 months with no more than 6 points (No DR, DG, MS, IN or TT related endorsements).

Licence/Certification:

• UK/EU driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months) (required)

Work Location: In perso

• 8am start - shift starts with an approximate 1 hour parcel sort. (Monday-Saturday)
• Safely operate a long wheel base delivery van to deliver between 40-60 stops.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. (Please note: shipments may be bulky & heavy).
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
