We are hiring a Parcel Sorter for our client in Kingston. The Parcel Sorter is responsible for efficiently receiving, sorting, scanning, and loading parcels to ensure accurate and timely distribution. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shift: 11 pm to 7 am.
Pay rate: $18.15/hr.

· Manually sort parcels by destination, size, weight, or service level.
· Use handheld scanners to track parcels and update the logistics system.
· Ensure accurate routing based on labels, barcodes, and shipping codes.
· Load sorted parcels onto conveyor belts, carts, or delivery vehicles.
· Unload incoming parcels from trucks and prepare them for sorting.
· Inspect parcels for damage, incorrect labeling, or hazardous materials.
· Meet daily sorting targets and deadlines.
· Maintain consistent workflow to minimize delays in the supply chain.
· Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT).
· Coordinate with team members and supervisors to optimize sorting processes.
· Assist in training new staff when required.
