Job Details Job Location: Lancaster - Lancaster, PA 17602 Salary Range: $19.81 - $20.77 Hourly Duties - The parent aide will provide in-home services for families referred by Lancaster County children and Youth agency. The parent aide will provide support and instruction for parenting requiring parenting, life skills, and/or maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment. The Parent aide is responsible for providing program intake and initial visit, assessment, monthly reporting on service delivery and communication with the provider agency. They will also meet with the family in home or in the community according to the goals set for each family. He/she will be responsible to take a trauma informed approach to develop healthy skills that will serve each family moving forward. He/she is responsible to develop working relationships with families, county agencies and other service providers. He/she is responsible for documentation and necessary paperwork related to all case activity. Some evening hours are required. Qualifications Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in SW or related field OR high school diploma with parenting or work with children 10 years or younger in a day care, camp, or school setting. Applicants must have vehicle and be able to transport clients. Applicants must be 21 years or older.
