QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Licensure from the State of Minnesota in Parent Education.
Successful background check required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES NEEDED:

Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with parents and families. Knowledge of early childhood development. Knowledge of Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework and Early Childhood Indicators of Progress.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.

Responsible for planning, instructing, and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for families with children ages birth to 5 years. Participate in outreach activities around the community, collaborate with other entities to provide programming to families, and assist with Early Childhood Screening.
