Advanced CCA specialise in Children’s Social Work investigation and Assessments. We are passionate about the work we do; we always adopt a child-centred approach and strive to deliver the very best possible outcome across all the cases we handle.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

  • Undertake direct work with parents and children. Rotating shift pattern within parents’ homes or within the community.
  • Working positively and constructively with parents who present with a range of challenges.
  • Provide daily evidence-based reports to support the Independent Social workers assessment and could be used for court proceedings.
  • The work will be on a self-employed basis and the working hours may vary depending on the needs of the service and the families you are working with.
  • Shifts will include days, evenings, weekends and waking nights.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To deliver a child focused approach.
  • Responsible for safeguarding children, young people and families and escalating any safeguarding concerns as per our safeguarding policy.
  • Responsibility for the supervision, monitoring, and observation of parents in their ability to care for their child/ren and of children in a secure setting.
  • Responsibility to support and model on core parental capabilities, providing feedback, advice and challenging where appropriate.
  • Provide comprehensive and analytical daily written evidence-based reports.
  • Embracing and accepting diversity, cultures, and religions.
  • Supporting positive relationships.
  • Verbal de-escalation techniques to minimise conflict.
