Description We are seeking a motivated Parker Store Representative to support the daily operations of our Parker Store. This role combines customer service, technical sales, inventory coordination, and order management in a fast-paced industrial retail environment. While experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid power systems is helpful, it is not required. We can teach product knowledge. What matters most is finding someone who is curious, motivated to learn, comfortable with technology, and willing to put in the work to help customers solve problems. If you enjoy helping customers, learning technical products, and taking initiative in a hands-on environment, this role provides an excellent opportunity to grow in the industrial distribution and fluid power industry. Requirements Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service in-store, by phone, and via email. Greet and assist customers professionally, identifying needs and providing product guidance. Generate new and repeat sales through timely product recommendations and technical support. Prepare and process quotes, orders, special requests, and return authorizations accurately. Serve as the primary contact for designated customer accounts, supporting on-time delivery and account needs. Collaborate with outside sales and internal teams to optimize customer satisfaction. Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery. Promote value-added solutions such as assemblies, kitting, and service offerings. Maintain accurate inventory and support stock management activities. Ensure store appearance, merchandising, and organization meet standards. Utilize ERP and customer/supplier portals to manage orders and information. Support store sales goals by achieving margin and revenue targets. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve product or order issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Customer-first attitude. Professional and approachable demeanor. Technical aptitude with problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer-based business systems (POS, ERP, or CRM). High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of technical knowledge or experience in Hydraulics/Pneumatics preferred. Technical certification in fluid power or motion control a plus.
