Brands supported by the CRVA include the Charlotte Convention Center, Spectrum Center, Bojangles Entertainment Complex, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Charlotte Film Commission, Visit Charlotte and Visitor Info Centers.       Job Summary  Responsible for the greeting of guests and processing of parking fee transactions while providing exceptional customer service.     1. Essential Job Duties   * Provide exceptional customer service and be able to communicate effectively / provide directions as needed. * Assist parking manager in the daily operation of ingress/egress of parking operations. * Assists with daily collection and categorization of process parking ticket transactions * Calculate parking fees based on the increments of time and length of stay by customer, collect proper fees and issue correct change using a cash register or fee computer. * Ensure accountability of cash bank; give appropriate change and receipts. * Assist customers in the use of automated revenue control equipment including ticket dispensers, pay stations and exit station equipment * Completes accurate daily shift reports, which requires use of accounting and mathematical calculations, and drops revenue into safe according to location policy. * Prepare daily bank deposit as assigned. * Monitor for fluidity of garage ingress and egress at all times. * Performs other duties as required.   2. Champion CRVA’s mission, vision and core values and comply with organizations policies and procedures.       Minimum Requirements * Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Computer literacy. working knowledge of all Microsoft applications. * Be able to work within a team environment to accomplish common goals. * Must be willing to take direction from managers and supervisors. * Must have good communication skills * Must have a good grasp of math and reading.     Education and Experience * A High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.   * A minimum of 1 year of work-related experience is strongly preferred.   Physical Demands * The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.   Work Environment  * The noise level in the work environment will vary depending on scheduled event  * Subject to periodic cold and hot temperatures.     What We Offer   * CRVA University  * Employee 1st Culture * CORE Values     Travel Required   This job has no travel requirements.     To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
