Parking Enforcement Patroller - Dana Point Application Deadline: 14 January 2026 Department: Operations - Field(OPS001) Employment Type: Part Time Location: A30368200_33282 Golden Lantern Reporting To: General Manager Compensation: $22.50 / hour Description Position: Parking Enforcement Patroller Location: City of Dana Point Pay: $22.50/hour Schedule: 5pm to 9pm two days per week, 10am to 630pm one day per week. **Shift days will vary. Flexible availability including weekends is required for this role.** The Parking Enforcement Patroller performs a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operation of the parking facility. The Parking Enforcement Patroller is responsible for monitoring the parking facility, issuing warning tickets/citations, and responding to customer inquiries. This role works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times. Key Responsibilities Patrol the city by car to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, etc. parking violations Enforce municipal codes by placement of citations on vehicles. Issues citations for vehicles that have surpassed the posted time limit, improper use of specially designated or time zones or lots, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, and illegally parked commercial vehicles and RV / trailers. Record and enter data collected for required citations/violations including time, date and location of infraction, vehicle information (license plate number, make, model & color) Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems and concerns, relay information to Operation Manager or the Public Works Director as necessary. Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operation Manager or the Public Works Director. Communicate professionally at all times with residents and visitors. All other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to communicate with guests At least 18 years of age Comfortable with devices running both Android and Apple Operating Systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid Driver's license required Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Previous customer service experience, preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently Operates a company vehicle, frequently enters and exits company vehicle to issue a citation.
