About the role  We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Parking Officer to join our Community Laws team. In this role, you will make a difference daily by providing effective and efficient parking enforcement across the municipality.  Your work will help create and maintain an environment that preserves and enhances public health and safety, ensuring our streets are safe, accessible, and well-regulated for everyone. As a casual the hours will vary, with work offered when required. Remuneration is KCC BAND 4 $46.40per hour including 25% casual loading plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee, plus penalty rates for weekend shifts. What you will need to thrive The key selection criteria for this role are: * Strong customer service skills and demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and dealing with the public in complex situations. * Ability to correctly interpret and apply relevant Legislation and regulations. * Self-motivation, initiative and the ability to produce work outcomes in a timely, accurate and professional manner. * Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to relate to others both within the organisation and outside of Council. * Experience in assisting writing reports and preparing evidence for court. * Demonstrated commitment to a team philosophy and willingness to participate in continuous improvement of work practices. * Computer literacy, including the use of MS Office and parking enforcement systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly.   To apply, please respond to the following questions in your application form: 1.
