Parking is what we do, our values are who we are. Overview The Parking Supervisor supports Operations Manager by assisting in the daily parking operations of the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital campus. This role provides direct, hands-on leadership to frontline staff, fostering a positive, service-driven environment that empowers employees to deliver an exceptional experience for patients, and visitors. Shift Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Supervision & Leadership: Lead by example Daily, hands-on supervision of staff and facility operation, providing leadership and guidance Monitor daily attendance and performance of staff to ensure that they are giving the highest level of customer service while performing their duties efficiently and accurately Practice “hands-on” leadership, coaching through MBWA (Management by Walking Around), and lead by example. Ensure compliance with all company standards; assist with performance reviews and disciplinary matters. Communication with other shift supervisors and managers with operational demands. Provide breaks for cashier team members Assist in monitoring of daily ticket inventory in dispensers Customer Service: Provide direct leadership and oversight to cashier team to ensure the highest levels of customer service Resolve parking-related grievances with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, or requests Facility Appearance / Maintenance: Monitor maintenance of the facility and associated premises to ensure cleanliness and properly working equipment Notify Maintenance Team of any matters that need attention; assist as needed Other duties as assigned Benefits $17.00/hr. High school diploma/GED. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Desire to serve others and lead by example. Previous parking, valet, payment collection, or event experience preferred. Minimum of two years previous experience with bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, and/or leadership of front-line team members. Able to read, write, converse and comprehend English fluently. Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software. Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of timeframes and deadlines, while keeping attention to detail and accuracy. Physical Demands Able to stand and walk approximately 95% of shift. Able to sit, stand, stoop, move up/down, walk, jog and run as needed. Ability to work outside in diverse weather conditions, to include heat, cold, rain and snow.
