Description Valets at Westmoor Country Club will welcome our members and their guests and responsibly handle their vehicles as they arrive and depart. Valets may also be called upon to operate our people-mover throughout their shift. Experience is preferred, and experience in a private club or resort setting is a plus; however, in-house training is available. Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week, on average), and seasonal (Memorial Day through Labor Day) positions are available with an opportunity for overtime and/or extra shifts during peak seasons. The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is a must. Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner Open car doors, collect keys, and provide the appropriate valet parking ticket Park vehicles safely, efficiently, and promptly Pick up and transport members and guests using our people-mover Assist with security of the parking lots and entrances Keep the entrance areas clean and free of hazards Part-time Benefits Free meals during shifts Free parking Partial uniform Pay Range $18-20 per hour, based on experience, plus tips Requirements Valid WI driver's license and incident-free driving record At least two years of driving experience without an accident Ability to drive a wide variety of vehicles, including those with manual transmission Flexible work schedule; able to work varying shifts to include holidays, weekends, and evenings Enthusiasm for providing personal, professional, and welcoming service to members and their guests Willingness to work as part of a team Able to lift up to 50 pounds Willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned The ability to work calmly, efficiently, and professionally in a sometimes busy and stressful setting Please, no phone calls or walk-ins.
Responsibilities
Valets are responsible for welcoming members and guests, safely handling their vehicles upon arrival and departure, and potentially operating the club's people-mover throughout their shift. They must also assist with security of parking areas and maintain cleanliness of entrance zones.
